Vision / Mission

Our Goal is to ensure total landfill substitution of e-waste by recycling and partnering with recycling organizations in order to reduce the impact of e-waste on the environment.

We approach waste management as resource management. We understand that every material is a commodity and has a place in the market.

Recycling always has positive returns on the environment.

We divert old Lithium-ion cells that would have otherwise been dumped from landfills and manufacture new products. By doing so we lower impact of e-waste and offer a substitute that decreases the use of natural resources and reduce the energy and emissions associated with manufacturing new products.

Li-Ion battery recycling includes the sourcing and its logistics, the stripping of the battery packs, sorting of the outputs, sorting, testing and charging of battery cells, monitoring their discharge behavior, packaging and supplying the working cells where they can be re-used.

We ensure that the plastic casing of the laptop battery is recycled in Uganda and turned into useful products.

We operate across multiple industries such as manufacturing, innovations and engineering which gives us a variety of opportunities and waste streams. We have e-waste that includes battery cells, cables and wires. We are able to recycle over 200,000 tons of materials per year.

By recycling we are able to reduce 95% impact of waste on the environment.

 * Reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills and incinerators

 * Increases economic security by tapping a domestic source of materials

 * Prevents pollution by reducing the need to collect new raw materials

 * Helps create jobs in the recycling and manufacturing industries in Uganda.

 * Conserves natural resources

 * Saves energy

We partner with vendors who share our views on resource management and are committed to recycling both our e-scrap and other hard-to-recycle items, such as cables and cords, into the best end use markets. We have reached out to a number of waste recycling companies in the region to build a strong partnership. Right now, we are establishing partnerships with companies like Eco Ways Uganda which turn disposed plastic into poles, bricks and tiles that are more durable than the conventional products.

We deploy individuals across the country and business units to collect waste. For example, we harvest battery cells from dead laptop sellers.

We emphasize the use of takeback programs with our vendors who share our responsibility of engaging in sustainable practices.

NB :Please only call these numbers at the side if you have laptop batteries to sell
